  Abstract

  Many studies have described how our notions of violence and war have been modified and transformed under influence of new technology, war industries, etc. But they do not explain what in violence can be mechanical as such. This is precisely what I want to explore in this article. I do not want to explain or describe a form of violence as generated by machines, but I first and foremost want to show how there can be a mechanical aspect in a form and the expression of violence as such.
