Abstract

In the article is discussed the question of the language of the Creation that by the opinions of some researchers was preserved and passed from Adam to Noah and from this ancestor to his descendants.  The Bible scholars are mentioning different nations as the succeeders of the first language trying to prove their points of view mainly by the data that could be found in the Holy Scriptures. Among the possible succeeders of the original language is mentioned also the Armenian nation and this opinion could be proved by several paragraphs of Bible. To this subject is devoted the publication of the “Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland” entitled “A Dissertation on the Antiquity of the Armenian Language” (author Arratoon Isaac Aganoon, volume 4, Issue 8, July 1837, pp. 333 - 344) where are brought all the necessary extracts and links that are surely demonstrating that if the original language is preserved it cold be the Armenian language. So here it’s introduced to our readers in Armenian translation.
