Abstract

The paper is devoted to the study of correlation between the two processes: those of understanding and revealing the truth. It is shown that understanding is closely related to and interconnected with the concepts of truth and depth. It is presented as an expression of cognitive metaphor being based on the physical experience of movement and the ability of seeing/perceiving.
