  • Armenological Issues

The Bulletin “Armenology” of the Institute of Armenian Studies of YSU, each issue of which is about 250 pages, has been published three times a year since 2014, edited by a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Aram Simonyan. In particular, it covers issues related to the history of the Armenian people, Armenian literature, linguistics and philosophy. Initially, the bulletin contains the following sections: "Articles", "Debates and Discussions", "Publications", "Book Reviews", "Academic Life". In recent years, the "Articles" section has been replaced by the sections "History", "Literature", "Linguistics", "Philosophy", "Archeology", "Lithography" and "Historiography". This largely contributed to the presentation of scientific problems related to various humanities , at a higher level.

In the "Publications" section, completely new archival unpublished documents have been published, devoted, in particular, to the history of the Armenian people. Interesting scientific discussions of a historical and philological nature were discussed in the "Debates and Discussions" section.

The bulletin “Problems of Armenian Studies” pays great attention to research in historiography, including the analysis of modern historiographic monographs based on scientific reviews. The bulletin regularly and objectively publishes the works of foreign historians dedicated to the history of the Armenian people, published not only in Armenia, the USA, France, England, Greece, Lebanon and Georgia. Several books on the history of the Armenian people published in Turkey and Azerbaijan were also considered.
