MAIN APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE CATEGORY OF EMOTIVITY IN MODERN EMOTIONOLOGY

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the consideration of the questions connected with the definition of the category of emotiveness. It focuses on different methods applied to the study of emotions from communicative, anthropocentic, psycolinguistic, semantic and cognitive standpoints. The paper touches upon the emergence and some contemporary problems of emotionology. The author analyzes various approaches to studying the category of emotivity and states the difference between the terms emotionalness and emotivity.
