Abstract

In the paper the lexical syntagm with the suffix -able/-ible is studied in modern political discourse. The study is carried out from the perspective of morphological and syntactic realizations in the context of political speech and focuses on the characteristics of meaning of the given type of lexical syntagm which are conditioned by the above-mentioned aspects and are necessary for the realization of the political addresser’s idea and intent.
