Abstract

Ch. Bukowski was a prominent figure in the history of the 20th century American literature. He viewed life and reality from a new angle and sought to change the artistic perception of the reality. His central characters were social marginal. Ch. Bukowski had his own philosophy of life and depicted reality with photographic accuracy. He is considered to be the founder of “underground’’ literature.
