Abstract

The paper is a unique attempt to analyze the principle of constructing the virtual reality in social networks according to M. Bakhtin’s conceptualization of carnival reality. The paper browses the social networks, mainly Facebook, to reveal the types of intertwined interactions between those of the Facebook and carnival realities and to construe their practical applications. The paper also reveals the bondage between medieval behavioral patterns, vocabulary and present day virtual reality.
