Abstract

The article carries out along the lines of fantasy genre with special reference to J. Rowling’s work “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. Of special interest are the peculiarities of modern fantasy and its textological issues. The text analysis reveals covert textological layers as well as the author’s linguistic, psychological, cultural and literary approaches.
