Abstract

The paper deals with the study of spatial relations based on the correlation of language and perception. Spatial relations are considered as a primary basic concept codified and verbalized in the language through different language means. An attempt is made to establish the relevant factors for their conceptualization, categorization and verbalization. Of special interest is the role of deictic expressions in this process.
