Abstract

The paper reveals the concept of diplomatic document, examines the basic types of diplomatic documents associated, first of all, with their functions and target audience. A significant number of diplomatic documents addressing the potential problems of international life are widely published and have a serious impact on the image of the state in the world arena. Diplomatic correspondence is conducted in accordance with the traditional rules of protocol, which have been developed over the years and are now accepted everywhere. Diplomatic communication is aimed not only at an objective description of the situation, but also at influencing and establishing cooperation.
