THE KOSOVO CRISIS AND TURKEY'S FOREIGN POLICY (1990-1999)

The Balkans was one of the regions where Turkish foreign policy was active in the post-Cold War period. Ankara's policy during the Kosovo crisis is interesting, which will be the main topic of this work. This article aims to analyze Turkey's Kosovo policy from the early 1990s until the NATO intervention and the end of the Kosovo War. In the first part of the study, the issue of Kosovo will be briefly presented, then the course of relations between Turkey and Kosovo will be examined during the above period and Turkey's attitude to the conflict that broke out in Kosovo will be revealed.
