    Abstract

The issue of employment for the human being has always been central to all periods of time and this has caused great attention in both scientific and religious systems. The work as a phenomena came into psychology in the 19th century due to the American psychologist F. Taylor, later G. Emerson paid attention on it and after that representatives of the American Social- Psychological School. In the above mentioned era, the efficiency of the workers was a primary issue, but along with the development of the field, the raised issues were also increased. Nowadays, one of the primary issues of organizational psychology are the choice of employee, work motivation and job management. While discussing the issue of choosing an employee in professional literature, a great attention is paid both on the employee's professional abilities and personality traits. Nevertheless, different religious systems, even during the creation of their saint books, have clearly described how working relationships should be, who should be accept to the certain work, how to work, and how to pay the worker. So this article is directed to the research how different religious systems refer to work and how experts interpret it.

    Abstract

Problem’s urgency is based on the necessity to study students’ psychological features during the stage of transition from Elementary to Secondary school. On this stage of development the changes in attitude towards teacher and school education are natural. They depend on the change of eras, transition from childhood to adolescence, start of teen-age crisis and can be perceived as an indicator of changes in child’s development. This paper’s goal is to show the psychological features of students, who are entering Secondary school. The primary methods of our research were questionnaire survey, stating experiment and projective method. Research data shows significant difference between students’ psychological and chronological (passport) age. Psychological age of most students, who enter Secondary school, is primary school age and it impedes the process of education and interaction with teachers. Research data, presented in the paper may help teachers, parents and students understand the reasons of school problems and help children to adapt to the new system of social relations.

    Abstract

Psychological adaptation of children to the learning environment is one of the key characteristics providing an effective "health map" in learners (pupils), as far as this particular feature represents the foundation of successful personal development and education of a child (learner, pupil). Psychological maladjustment is an early and objective predictor of the risk of maladaptive changes in the psychophysiological state of learners. The state of psychological maladaptation is characteristic of an early stage of behavioral disorders in children. Psychological disadaptation may be directly associated with impaired health, both psychological and physical, or learning disability, or may combine all the above aspects. Monitoring represents a simple, available and effective tool for objective dynamic surveillance on the psychological status, it enables identifying negative trends in the mental state of children (learners) in course of the learning process.

DETERMINATION OF THE BODY COMPOSITION AS AN INDICATOR OF HUMAN HEALTH

    Abstract

The doctrine of body composition has become an urgent area in the field of biology, medicine and valeology in the second half of the 20th century. The most common method of determination at present is bio-impedance analysis. Measuring weight alone does not give an accurate picture of the state of the body, since the body weight of a person is the sum of the weight of bones, muscles, adipose tissue, cerebrospinal fluid, etc. At the same time, two people with the same indicators of weight and height may differ in the level of content of adipose tissue, muscle mass, which significantly affects health and performance. A quantitative characteristic of body composition, an assessment of the ratio of all constituent components is a reflection of the energy balance, correlates with the physical performance of a person and reflects his adaptation to the changing environmental conditions of life. The most urgent problem is the study of body composition in sports, extreme conditions, morbid and premorbid conditions.

    Abstract

The article discusses relationships between justice sensitivity and common attitudes to justice. Justice sensitivity is understood as a person’s willingness to perceive injustice and his emotional, cognitive and behavioral responses to it. Study participants (N=98; mean age=18.6, SD = 1.2) gave associations to the notion of "justice" and completed Justice Sensitivity Inventory. Associations were grouped according to the categories of common attitudes to justice that are distinguished for Russian society. Regardless of the level of justice sensitivity, the most common category of association is “the ability to believe a person”. Subjects with high justice sensitivity from victim’s perspective associated justice with morality more often, and with objectivity less often than the group with low victim justice sensitivity. For subjects with high justice sensitivity from witness’s perspective, justice is also less associated with the notion of objectivity.

VISUALIZATION OF CULTURE IN THE MUSEUM PRACTICES OF PEACEMAKING: EXPERIENCE AND TRIAL

    Abstract

This article examines the possibilities of assembling and expanding the new cultural field of peacemaking, in which the museums for peace will not only effectively show the humanistic potential of their collections (heritage), but also open up peacemaking opportunities in the everyday life of people. Such cultural practice can give value to the fact that it did not have or still remained not obviously significant for museum work. There are two scenarios for achieving this: 1) the museum of the world (with its heritage / memory artifacts) is incorporated into the culture of people's everyday life (everyday life) by their social projects and 2) the best examples of everyday life experience are attached to the actual practice of the museum, acquiring the status of cultural value.

PSYCHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES OF AN OLDER TEACHER AT THE UNIVERSITY

    Abstract

Age-related psycho-physiological features of brain development should be considered when using older university scientists. Without creating a competitive environment, the realization of their abilities is not the maximum possible; the performance criterion should be an assessment of their project activities over the past 3(5) years with satisfaction with the positions on which the university's innovative activity is assessed. The imperfection of the modern system of accreditation of higher educational institutions leads to a lack of scientific schools and stagnation in the longterm rotation of scientific and pedagogical personnel. With the departure of older faculty members from the state of universities, they should be involved in the activities of public organizations.

In this paper we present the experience of using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in psychological study of the mnemonic “Google-effect”. This effect consists of a tendency to forget information after the command “save” is assigned to a computer (Sparrow, Liu, Wegner, 2011). The present study explores whether the “Google-effect” would remain if the participant has an explicit mnemonic goal to remember the material. In other words, we studied how the interaction between computer operations and the participant’s goals affects the recall of the material. Seventy student volunteers (10 males) took part in the computer game requiring identifying themselves with a private detective. According to the results, the effect was not reproduced, but thanks to the capabilities of the web interface, we were able to collect additional data that allowed us to put forward an innovative interpretation of the “Google-effect”.

VICARIOUS MEMORIES: DO THEY PERFORM THE SAME JOB IN DIFFERENT CULTURAL MINDS?

    Abstract

Vicarious memories are recollections of events that happened to other people. They were recently recognized as a meaningful component of personal life story. In this study we examined whether vicarious memories were more common in collectivistic than in individualistic cultures and speculated that they might serve different functions in different cultural contexts. 323 participants with Chinese (N=89), Russian (N=142), and Uzbek (N=92) background drew a lifeline of their childhood. In general, females produced more vicarious lifelines than males and the Chinese participants produced more vicarious lifelines than their Russian and Uzbek female counterparts. The Uzbek male participants generated the least vicarious lifelines. However, the functionality of vicarious memories varies among cultures. In Chinese participants the conjunction of vicarious and achievement memories serves a directive function. Although the directive function affirmed to be the gist of vicarious memories, in Russian participants they are relevant also to a self-reflective function. Accordingly, in Uzbek participants they are associated with a function of emotional regulation.

PROBLEM OF IMAGINATION IN PSYCHOLOGY (on the example of analysis of the construction of verbal images)

    L. I. Shragina
    View PDF
    Abstract

The presence of a wide range of views on the phenomenon of "imagination" as the psychological basis of creative activity to developing new material and spiritual values suggests that this phenomenon in the scientific view is still a problem. At the core of the problem is a contradiction: there is a creative activity that is carried out through imagination, but imagination itself as a phenomenon disappears during analysis, which makes it necessary to consider it on the basis of a fundamentally new methodological approach. As a methodology proposed functional system approach. Considered, on the basis of the proposed approach, the functioning of the verbal imagination in the process of creating a verbal image as an artificial system. In terms of the functional system approach, “verbal imagination” is defined as a metasystem - a complex of certain mental operations (actions) of a subject that arises and functions only when the subject needs to control and manage his cognitive processes during the creation of a verbal image.

The purpose of this work is to study the combinations of color associations of letters in people aged 18 to 35 years. A new approach is considered, according to which Armenian letters give rise to color perceptions, which in turn vary depending on gender and place of residence. In the course of the study, an experiment was used, during which the test we developed was used, which is based on M. Lüscher's TEC.
