Abstract

In this paper a mathematical model is offered, which characterizes the erosion process in mountainous countries. It takes into consideration the inclination and geographical latitude of the area. The results obtained by this model appeared to be rather close to the experimental data. The observed deviations can be brought to zero taking into account anti-erosion tendency of the ground (the infiltration coefficient).
