    Abstract

In this article the results of hydrodynamic studies of albumin aqueous solutions at the presence of cis-dimethylsulphoxide complex of platinum (II) are presented. By the viscosytmetric and densitometric methods behaviour of these systems is studied at 20–50℃ temperature range. For the explanation of obtained results the model of compact spheroid is used.

    Abstract

An interaction of palladium (II) with iodide has been studied by means of amperometry and spectrophotometry methods. The optimal conditions for proceeding of the chemical and electrode processes have been determined. The limits of palladium (II) concentrations submitting to the amperometry (1·10-3–1·10-7 M) and spectrophotometry (3·10-6–5·10-5 M) main laws have been estimated. A method for determination of palladium (II) in the palladiumplating electrolytes has been suggested. The relative error of the determination is within permissible limits (2– 7.3%).

    Abstract

Interaction of thiocyanate complex of palladium (II) with triphenyl raw organic basic dye fucsine in sulfuric acid environment has been studied. The optimal conditions for the formation of ionic associate (IA) and its extraction in organic phase, also concentration of dye, the range of palladium (II) content selectivity of extraction are determined. The content of IA is determined.

    Abstract

It was registered visual evoked potentials in symmetric points of frontal, parietal, temporal and occipital areas of the right and left hemispheres of brain cortex at the persons trained work on a computer, and at the persons having skill of work on a computer. It were analyzed amplitude-time characteristics of EP components N200 and P300. Found interhemispheric differences in speed of processing signals and on value of amplitude in conditions of training of PC operator activity are testifying about the leading part of the left hemisphere in cognitive stage of perception. Feebly marked interhemispheric differences at examinees – professional PC users is testifying about weak participation of brain cortex maintenance of PC operator work.

THE ROLE OF THE NUCLEUS LATERALIS MAMILLARIS OF THE HYPOTHALAMUS IN RESPIRATORY NEURONS IN HYPOXIA CONDITIONS

    R. S. Arutyunyan
    View PDF
    Abstract

In the normal as well as in the oxygen deficiency conditions research has been made to study the influence of irritation of lateral mamillary (LM) nucleus of the hypothalamus on impulse activity of respiratory neurons of medulla oblongata. In conditions of normal atmospheric pressure the electrical stimulation of the LM nucleus has had mainly activiting influence. In the initial phase, on 4–5 thousand meter altitude, activation of frequent discharge of neurons occurred. In this situation stimulation of the LM induced uncharacteristic reactions of those neurons. In the second phase (7.5–8 thousand meters) on the reduction of the impulse activity of neurons, stimulation LM nucleus of hypothalamus was more accentuated than in conditions of normoxia.

EXTRACTION-ABSORPTIOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM BY RIVANOL IN MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS

    K. K. Mkrtchyan, Zh. M. Arstamyan
    View PDF
    Abstract

The interaction of chromium(VI) with acridine basic dye-rivanol has been studied. The colored ionic associate could be extracted by dichlorethane and aceton (1:1) binary mixture in 1 to 1.5 N hidrochloric acid solutions. The optimal concentration of rivanol is 1.2·10-3 M. The range of determined concentrat ion is 0.6–10 mcg Cr/ml ( $\overline{\epsilon}=$7,0·104 l·mol-1·cm-1). The method was used for determination of small amounts of chromium in milk, sour cream and curds.

    Abstract

Comparative analysis of female and male gametophyte of some old sorts of vines is presented. It is shown that the macrogametophyte is comparatively stable and is characterized with middle level of normal ovules development with elements
of embryo sac. Analysis of microgametophyte showed its wide variability and as a result more preferable the application of this system in biomonitoring.
