    Abstract

Two methods for the synthesis of 2,4-dihydroxy-3-(3’-chloro-2-buthenyI) quinolines are developed. By intermolecular cyclisation of o-ethoxycarbonylanilide of 4-chloro-3-pentencarbonic acid in the presence of sodium alcoholate or sodium suspension in xylene and by the thermal intermolecular cyclisation of monoanilide of 3- chloro-2-buthenylmalonic acid ethyl ester.

    Abstract

An efficient method for asymmetric synthesis of (R)-S-5-(3'-hydroxy-4'-izoamiloxy-butyl)-4-allyl-l,2,4-triazol-3-yl-cysteine via asymmetric Michael addition of heterocyclic thiol’s to the electrophile C=C bond of dehydroalanine in Ni(ll) complex of Shiff's bases by a chiral reagent L-2-N-(N'-benzylprolyl)aminobenzo-phenone with following decomposition of the reaction mixtures and isolation of the resulting amino acids has been developed. 3-(3'-hydroxy-4'-izoamiloxybutyl)-4-allyl-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole were used as nucleophiling reagent. Addition results in high stereoselectivity (up to 97%) and good chemical yields. The obtained diastereoisomeric complexes with (S,R)- and (S,S)-absolute configuration were separated on SiO2 and determined by the usual chemical and physical methods. After the mixture of diastereoisomeric complexes had been decomposed in 2 N HCl, optically active ^-substituted of heterocyclic α-cysteine with (R)-absolute configuration and initial chiral reagent with initial optical purity were isolated. Thus (R)-5-5-(3'-hydroxy-4'-izoamiloxybutyl)-4-allyl-l,2,4-triazol-3-yl-cysteine with (R)-absolute configuration in high optical purity (>99%) were synthesized.

    Abstract

In continuation of our investigations in the field of synthesis of 1-naphthoxy-3-suturated aminopropanoles an effective method for realization of interaction of 1,2-epoxy-3-naphthoxy propane with some β- and γ-aminoalcohols had been developed and proposed. Optimal conditions for obtaining wanted model compounds have been defined.

    Abstract

The interaction between p-oxyacetophenone and a number of carbonic acids hydrazides gives corresponding alkyl (cyanoalkyl) carbonylhydrazones. The possibility of ring-chain tautomerism in obtained systems has been studied.

CHANGE OF AGROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF A FOOTHILL ZONE OF ARMENIA DURING THEIR CULTIVATION

    Abstract

It has been shown that semi-deserted soils of Armenian pre-mountainous zone do not provide high harvest of cultures without irrigation since they lack humus, nitrogen and are rich in carbonic acids. Cultivated both virgin brown semi-deserted and chestnut soils with mixed content of organic compounds, nitrogen, phosphorus and calcium differ from each other a little. Owing to cultivation and irrigation the carbonates move deep from higher horizons to lower ones. Soluble salts of subsoil zone after cultivation and irrigation become mobile. It is natural that a part of salts is washed into deeper horizons with capillary water, and the other part rises to top horizons with capillary waters.

    Abstract

The amino acid formation of protein hydrolizates of the sheep blood serum has been investigated for the purpose of using them in the parenteral nutrition. The acidic hydrolizates of proteins were the results of different hydrolization. The highest results of the amino acid was observed during 32 hours hydrolization, which is 5.294 g per 100 mL blood serum.

THE CHANGE OF THE ACTIVITY OF ARGINASE AND ENZYMES OF PROLIN BIOSYNTHESIS IN DIFFERENT ORGANS OF RATS AT FEEDING WITH GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA  AND INCISION n. SHIACIC

    Abstract

While feeding rats with Glycyrrhiza glabra the activity of enzymes of proline biosyntesis in different organs of rats decreases considerably. While feeding with Glycyrrhiza glabra of rats with incision of nervus shiacic brings to sharp growth of activity of arginase and enzymes of proline biosynthesis. Obviously, during regeneration the activity of non-ureote!ic isoenzymes of arginase increases, functioning in enzymatic system of proline biosynthesys from arginine through ornithine. In kidneys under the impact of Glycyrrhiza glabra an increase of activity of arginase and enzymes of proline biosynthesis takes place. A greater increase of activity of these enzymes is observed while feeding with Glycyrrhiza glabra of the rats with incision of nervus shiacic.

    Abstract

On the basis of valine biosynthesis general scheme by Brevibacterium flavum, the equations for material and energy balance were worked out in the cases of valine synthesis from glucose, acetate and lactate. Some characteristics of valine biosynthesis were calculated using these equations: the coefficients of maximum productivity were 0.67, 0.49 and 0.60 in the cases of valine biosynthesis from glucose, acetate and lactate, correspondingly.

    Abstract

The dynamics of clastogenic effect of different water samples from the Hrazdan River using the Trandescantia micronucleus (Trad-MCN) assay in different months of the year during two years (20002001) was studied. The cytagenetic assessment of water samples from 6 points of Hrazdan River, passing through Yerevan, into which everyday municipal effluents run is given. Both time and space heterogenicity of clastogenic activity of river water components is revealed caused by municipal and technogenic loads of Hrazdan River on the territory of Yerevan.

    Abstract

The reaction of chromium (VI) ion with Methilene Green basic dye in the solutions of hydrocloric acid has been studied. The formed ionic associate is extracted by bensole from pH 1.01.0 M HCI solutions. The optimal concentrations of basic dye is 3.21·10-3–4.8·10-3M. The range of determined concentration is 0.1255.0 mcg Cr/mL ($\overline{\epsilon}_{640}$= 65000 mol-1· cm-1). The method was used for the determination of small amounts of chromium in milk, sour cream and curds.
