ROLE OF HYDROPHOBIC INTERACTIONS AT THE THERMAL DENATURATION OF HUMAN AND BOVINE SERUM ALBUMINS AT THE PRESENCE OF DIALKYLSULFOXIDES
AbstractThe effect of dialkylsulfoxides (DASO) on the thermal denaturation of serum albumins human and bovine in the temperature range 20–90oC has been investigated by the UV/vis absorption spectroscopy method. It has been shown that in the homologous series of DASO hydrophobic interactions with proteins become more effective. However, with the elongation of hydrocarbon chain, starting from dipropylsulfoxide, in consequence of breaking the diffusion of sulfoxide molecules, denaturation of proteins is observed at higher temperatures.

VITAMIN C AS CHAIN TRANSFER AGENT DURING ACRYLAMIDE POLYMERIZATION
AbstractThe influence of vitamin C ($\leq$ 10-4 M) on the rate of acrylamide (AA) polymerization, on the mean molecular mass ($\overline{MM}$) of the obtained polyAA has been studied. The AA polymerization is carried out in aqueous solutions pH = 3 and 323 K. The initiator was the potassium persulfate. RP has been determined by dilatometry and $\overline{MM}$ - by viscosimetry . It has been established that the experimental data obey Mayo equation and vitamin C transfers the chain. The evaluated absolute value of ktr is of the order 104 M-1s-1at 323 K. In the case when [vit. C]0$\geq 2\cdot$ 10-3 M probably the chain is transfered with degradation.

APPLICATION OF ADSORPTION ISOTHERM GAB AT RESEARCHING OF STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SORBENTS WITH GRAFT SUPERFICIAL CONNECTIONS
AbstractAs a result of data processing on benzene adsorption on a surface of silica with graft superficial fragments oligostyrene it was found , that for characterization of textural parametres of sorbents, the possibility of the isotherm equation of adsorption BET (Brunauer, Emmett, Teller) is strongly limited. It was shown, that for more reliable definition of structural characteristics of sorbents with graft superficial connections expediently instead of using twoparametrical isotherm equation BET to apply Guggengeime, Anderssen and de Boer three-parametrical equation.

INFLUENCE OF NOT THERMAL COHERENT ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES OF MM-DIAPAZON ON THERMOSTABILITY OF DNA AND ITS COMPLEXES WITH Hoechst 33258
AbstractThe influence of MMEMW on thermostability of DNA and its complexes with Hoechst 33258 in a wide interval of ionic strength of the solution (0.002–0.1 M Na+ ) has been carried out. It is revealed that at low ionic strength of a solution ($\mu$ ~0.002 M Na+ ) thermostability of DNA and its complexes with Hoechst 33258 at irradiation by MMEMW considerably increases in comparison with nonirradiated samples. Increasing the ionic strength of the solution the thermostability of the irradiated and nonirradiated samples differ very little. It is also revealed that at irradiation the specificity of Hoechst 33258 to АТ-sequences of DNA at high ionic strength is not shown.

INFLUENCE OF UV-RADIATION ON «HYPERCHROMIC EFFECT» INDUCED BY GASEOUS AMMONIA AT PLANTS’ LEAVES
AbstractThe influence of UV-radiation and ammonia on plants’ PSA has been investigated. It has been shown that UV-radiation decreases the absorptive ability of pigment apparatus of plants. The combined influence of UV-radiation and ammonia increases the absorptive ability of leaves and inhibits the electron transfer chain of photosynthetic activity of plants. At the same time decrease of quantity of complex pigments (Chlorophylls a, b and carotenoids) is observed.

INFLUENCE OF ORGANIC ACIDS ON THE BIOSINTHESIS OF AMINO ACIDS BY CORYNEFORM BACTERIUM
AbstractThe effect of organic acids on the growth of some coryneform bacteria and on the biosynthesis of amino acids have been studied. It was shown that the organic acids (lactic, acetic, citric) in the synthetic nutrient medium in the concentrations 0.5–1.0% were assimilated by the strain producers of L-proline, L-ornithine, L-serine and L-arginine. Their presence in the nutrient medium influences on the biosynthesis of amino acids differently.

ANTITOXIC EFFECT OF TAURINE
AbstractInvestigation of single injection of taurine on Lebetina viper’ venom-induced shifts of morpho-functional indices of rats’ peripheral blood was carried out. It was revealed that taurine eliminates negative effects of influence of venom. The results of the investigation allow us to assume that taurine trigger adaptive and compensatory mechanisms of organism in conditions of toxins’ influence.

IDENTIFICATION OF IMPORTANT SPECIES OF THE GENUS ARMILLARIA IN HORTICULTURAL AND FOREST REGIONS OF IRAN BY CLASSIC MATING-TESTS
AbstractForty isolates were obtained from different plant-hosts in fruit orchards and forest regions of Iran. In order to identify species of Armillaria diploid and haploid cultures were paired with two or three known haploid tester isolates from each intersterile group. Sexual compatibility was evaluated, based on the differences in morphology of haploid colonies from white and with fluffy to brownish, without aerial mycelium (crustose). In this study 19 plant species were introduced as hosts for Armillaria species. Twenty nine isolates of Armillaria mellea (72.5%) were obtained from following plant hosts: Armeniaca vulgaris, Juglans regia, Amygdalus communis, Pyrus communis, Malus domestica, Populus nigra, Platanus orientalis, Citrus aurantium, Abies alba, Carpinus betulus and Parrotia persica. Quercus castaneifolia, Diospyros lotus and Fagus orientalis were identified as the hosts of Armillaria galica. Armillaria spp. isolates from Picea abies, Crataegus pentagyna, Acer sp., Alnus subcordata and Carpinus betulus were not compatible with any of tester strains, representing different species. Gleditsia caspia was the new host of Armillaria sp. from Iran.

EXTRACTION-PHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF ANALGINUM BY FUCHSINE IN PHARMACEUTICALS
AbstractInteraction of analginum anion with triphenilmethane (TPM) basic dye fuchsine has been studied. The colored ionic associate (IA) could be extracted by dichlorethane–acetone (2:1) binary mixture in pH 2 (H2SO4) solutions. The range of determined concentration of analginum is 7.11·10-5–1.423·10-3 M, of fuchsine is 4.44·10-4–1.04·10-3 M . A attitude of components in IA is 1:1. The elaborated method has been applied for determination of analginum in pentalgin-H, spasmalgonum, spasgan. In the case of tempalgin low results are received. Fuchsine is less sensitive, than earlier reported methods by other TPM dyes.

ESTIMATION OF CHROMOSOME X DAMAGE INDUCED WITH MITOMYCIN C IN HUMAN LEUKOCYTES BY MN-FISH METHOD
AbstractCombination of micronuclei test with fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) with application of whole chromosome probes was applied to compare chromosome X damage in leukocytes of male and female. Mitomycin C was selected as typical clastogene agent. 916 micronuclei in cells of both genders were studied. The data obtained showed that frequency of distribution of X-chromosome in women's and men’s micronuclei was 4.25 and 1.05% consequently. Higher probability of damage of female inactive X-chromosome in micronuclei compared with its functioning homolog is demonstrated and discussed.
