    Abstract

The composition of the coordinatively unsaturated halide (h) complexes of cadmium in ion associates with malachite green and fuxine have been studied. The ratio of components in the complexes has been established spectrophotometrically and argentometrically and independently of nature of dyes and halides to be Cd2+:h = 1:3. The formula of complexes is Cdh3.

    Abstract

Formation of complex acetates of metal ions Co2+, Mn2+, Cd2+ and monomethilolakrilamidom has been studied. By methods of IR, NMR spectroscopy and element analysis composition and structure of the rough formed chelate complexes are investigated. By measuring the magnetic moments are defined, which made it possible to determine also the coordination numbers of metal ions in the appropriate complexes.

    Abstract

A simple and handy method for obtaining variable 3-N-substituted thieno[2,3-d] and thieno[3,2-d] pyrimidin-4-ones has been developed. The reaction of α- and β-amino ethyl thiophenecarboxilates with dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal forms the corresponding new dimethylaminomethyleneamino derivatives. Above mentioned derivatives when condensed with several aliphatic and aliphatic substituted primary amines form the targeted new 3-N-substituted thienopyrimidin-4-ones with high yields.

INFLUENCE OF p-CHLOROMERCURIBENZOATE ON THE ARGINASE ISOENZIMES OF RAT ORGANS IN THE PRESENCE OF NG-HYDROXIARGININE

    N.S. Khachatryan
    View PDF
    Abstract

The influence of p-chloromercuribenzoate on rat liver, brain, and kidney arginase isoenzymes activity in the presence of intermediate compound NG-hydroxiarginine was investigated. It is shown that inhibition enhancement nonureothelic arginases of investigated organs by p-chloromercuribenzoate increases the influence of NG-hydroxiarginine. Liver ureothelic arginase does not react to the presence of p-chloromercuribenzoate and NG-hydroxiarginine.

    Abstract

This study involved the level of pollution with heavy metals and aluminium in the rivers of the Meghriget, Voghchi and Artsvanik. Water samples collected from different sites of the rivers during 2008–2009 were analyzed for Al, Fe, Cu, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, Cr, Cd, V, Se. Researches shown that high concentrations of the heavy metals and aluminium in the Voghchi and Meghriget rivers were observed after urban areas. The highest concentration of heavy metals was observed in the Artsvanik river waters which had its impact on the quality of the Voghchi river waters. The maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of aluminium, iron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, chromium, cadmium, selenium and vanadium was exceeded for culture-domestic water use in the studied river during 2008–2009.

INFLUENCE OF FOLIC ACID ON THE RATE OF CUMENE AUTOOXIDATION IN EMULSION

    N.M. Beylerian, E.R. Saroukhanyan, P.G. Minasyan
    View PDF
    Abstract

The influence of folic acid (FA) on the rate (R) of cumene autooxidation at 353 K and initiated by AIBN in H20/C6H5Cl emulsion stabilized by anionic surfactant sodium dodecylsulfate has been studied. It is established that in the presence of FA the reaction begins after some induction period (τ). The function τ = f ([FA]0 ) is being described by a bell-shape curve. At low FA concentrations prevails its inhibitory action. Increasing [FA]0 begins its cooxidation parallelly with cumene. FA practically does not act on the steady-state R. But in its presence after some time the steady-state trend of the reaction is being disturbed. The reaction is being continued with decreased rate. In the steady-state R ~ [AIBN ]$_0^{1/2}$ [cumene]0 . It is assumed that the products of FA transformation is not indifferent with respect to the kinetics of cumene autooxidation. Dianion, which corresponds to FA in a more extent decreases the reaction rate.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND IRRIGATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF THE BABOLROUD RIVER WATER

    A. Behmanish, K.V. Grigoryan

    Abstract

Hydrochemical composition and irrigative quality of the river Babolroud were studied. It was revealed that technogenic factor does not evidently affect the chemical composition of the river Babolroud, as the chemistry of the river’s water fits to the water quality formed under the impact of natural factors. According to the composition of the main ions, the value of the total mineralization, water pH, irrigation coefficient and ions correlation, the water of the Babolroud river has a good irrigation quality.
