The article focuses on temporal-political formulae of manuscript colophons and inscritpions from 11-13th century Armenia, a widely used textual component to refer to the rulers of the time. As a multiplicity of titles and designations were empolyed to denote rulers of various “standings”, a special attention is given to the terminological peculiarities in terms of semantics as well the context and the scope. These include imperial power (ashkharhakalowtiwn), tyrannical power (br’nakalowtiwn), and anarchy (anishkhanowtiw) among others. An important aspect of the formulae is the temporal subordination of reference (with more powerful rulers named first and least powerful ones last). One further aspect is the marked difference in perception between kingly and non-kingly powers in Medieval Armenia.

The article addresses a certain and very important aspect of the relations between Cilican Armenia and Holy Roman Empire – the proclamation of the Armeinan Kingdom of Cilicia and the coronation of Prince Levon II. Based on the information available in medieval Armenian and foreign historical sources, as well as the modern scientific literature of the question, the author has managed to present the international situation from the late 80s of the 12th century to 1198, the Armenian-Roman and Armenian-Byzantine relations and the process of the coronation of King Levon II. The article contains detailed information about the negotiation process between Cilician Armenia and the two powers of the time – the Holy Roman Empre and the Byzantine Empire as well as the final decisions achieved. Special attention has been attached to the religious changes offered by the Catholic Church to the Armenian Prince of Cilicia. The article also addresses the issue of the anointment of Prince Levon II and substantiates the fact that it was performed by Archbishop Conrad Wittlesbach, the representative of the Pope of Rome and the Holy Empire. Armenian Catholicos Grigor VI Apirat blessed him.

The revolutionary and national-liberation movements that broke out in the Austrian Empire found a wide response in the Armenian public mind of the time and in the periodical press. The members of the Mkhitaryan Congregation in Venice and Vienna, as well as ‘’Europe’’ and ‘’Bazmavep’’ periodicals, touched upon those movements and the national struggle of the Croats.
Historian Ghukas Inchichyan from the Mhitaryan Congregation in Venice, noticed that the Croats didn’t have an independent kingdom and were under foreign rule because of their disunity and cleavage. In his opinion, despite the fact that the Croats were brave, courageous people and good soldiers, they were revengeful and rancorous inside, which prevented them from coming together, uniting and struggling for independence.
Commenting on the temporary liberation of the Venetians from the Austrian rule, the editor of ‘’Bazmavep’’, Gabriel Archimandrite Aivazovsky noted with regret that their enjoyment was short-lived, for the Croatian soldiers mercilessly suppressed their movement and shed-blood.
The Mhitaryan congregants Ambrosios Archimandrite Galfayan and Grigor Archimandrite Govrikyan impartially and briefly presented the national movement of the Croats. The political weekly ‘’Europe’’ of the Vienna Mkhitaryans and Ghevond Archimandrite Hovnanyan elucidated that event more thoroughly. The editors of ‘’Europe’’ were obliged to present the political events in an impartial manner, to be faithful to the reliability of the received news. While generally mentioning that position in relation to the political events taking place in Europe, the Mkhitaryans in Vienna didn’t show the same approach when elucidating the struggle of the subject peoples of the Austrian Empire. They didn’t encourage the liberation struggle of the Hungarians against the Empire, but perceived the fact that the Croats’ struggle was entirely against the Hungarian government. According to the Mkhitaryans, the Croats, who stood up for their national autonomy, were loyal subjects of the Empire, were satisfied and happy with the constitution adopted by Frantz Joseph and thus ready to die for the Emperor.

In Armenian and world historiography, enough work has been done in the direction of studying the issue of Armenian reforms in 1912-1914, the policies of different states and the activities of individuals, however, the activities of the well-known politician, Dr. Hakob Zavriyan,s activity in the mentioned years were not the subject of a separate study, although Over the past years, some authors, as well as us, have found in the archives and published a number of documents that remained outside scientific circulation.
In the context of the processes taking place at the global and national levels, the article presents the activities of Hakob Zavriyan in the national, but especially the international arena to open the Armenian question in the specified period before the signing of the reform agreement.
In our opinion, he did significant organizational work at the national level to unite different layers of Armenians and develop reform programs. And in the international arena, A. Zavriyana promoted the issue of reforms, especially in his numerous contacts with the governments of Russia and Germany, trying to give their policies a pro-Armenian direction.

The article analyzes the meetings of the delegation of the Republic of Armenia with the German ambassador in Constantinople. In this regard, special attention is paid to the non-pro-Armenian programs of Germany adopted in June 1918. The article considers the fact that the German military-political leadership made it clear to Armenian diplomats that in the complex and contradictory situation created in the region, it cannot jeopardize its relations with its ally Turkey for the sake of Armenians. The Armenian delegation in Berlin states that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany prevented Armenian diplomats from distributing the color map of Armenia's borders, memos and other pro-Armenian diplomatic materials among the deputies of the Reichstag, the ambassadors of various countries accredited in Berlin, as well as a number of state, political and public figures.

Compatriotic unions played a crucial role in satisfying the needs of their fellow countrymen, creating jobs, providing first aid to the survivors of the genocide, and overcoming the consequences of the Armenian Genocide as much as possible. These organizations were active not only in Western Armenia, in the Armenian cities of the Ottoman Empire, but also in other places abroad and in Soviet Armenia, where Armenians settled, especially as a result of the Armenian Genocide. Such a pro-Armenian mission was undertaken by the two major unions of Sebastian Armenians, the Senekerimian Union and the Sebastia Reconstruction Union, which cooperated in important undertakings to support compatriots. Moreover, they carried out an important mission to rescue Armenian orphans, liberate Armenian girls from harems, list the organizers of the genocide, deportation and looting of the Armenians of Sebastia, and appeal to the new authorities of Turkey to identify and punish the perpetrators. However, as the process revealed, the latter did not execute any punishment.

Not only the Armenian soldier made an outstanding contribution to the victory of the Great Patriotic War, but also the entire Armenian people. Owing to the daily heroic work of the workers of industry sector of Soviet Armenia, 30 new industrial enterprises were put into operation during the war years, and 300 new types of products were mastered by the industry, including 10 types of weapons. Owing to agricultural workers, plans to supply the front with bread, meat, butter, tobacco and drinks were fulfilled. The Armenian intelligentsia also provided significant assistance to the front, putting all their strength into the cause of victory. In this sense, coverage of the heroic labor of the workers of Soviet Armenia during the Great Patriotic War was one of the important issues of Armenian historiography. Over the past years, monographic and collective works devoted to the problem have been created, many articles have been published, a collection of documents and materials has been compiled, etc. However, this noble cause would be more beneficial if a general work was created in Russian and other languages that would familiarize a new generation of post-Soviet countries and the world community with the achievements of Armenian working circles in achieving victory in the Great Patriotic War and the achievements of Armenian historiography in the field of research of the issue.

The history of everyday life is one of the popular and constantly evolving directions of historical research. Its emergence is due to approaches that have abandoned historical research to positive traditions and valued the human-centred value of the historical paradigm.
In Armenian historiography, the history of everyday life is a relatively new field of study, the theoretical and methodological problems of which are not sufficiently clarified. In the article these problems are discussed from the point of view of interdisciplinary approach. The author tries to substantiate the thesis that knowledge of the history of everyday life should begin with the study of theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of everyday life, presented in sociological theories. Briefly describing those sociological theories that directly or indirectly address the problem of everyday life, the author considers them in a certain sequence recognized in the theoretical discussions of the topic. Such an approach could help Armenian historians of everyday life to form a clearer representation of the phenomenon of everyday life.

The article discusses ways to clarify the purposes of the study of the Armenian Diaspora, as well as methodological approaches to identifying and studying the potential of the Diaspora.
By improving their professional skills in the international arena and gaining significant economic, social and political weight, Diaspora Armenians have the potential to establish international structures on a national basis that can become a platform for political, economic, social and cultural cooperation. Collecting and analyzing information about the situation in each part of the diaspora will make it possible to identify and assess opportunities and prospects for developing and implementing community and national programs.

The aim of the study is to analyze the role and the place of the ˝Politics of memory˝ in the context of relations between Russia and European Union. Who won World War II ?, what was the role of the second front ?, the actions of the Red Army in the countries of Eastern and Central Europe and many other problems always had been the apple of discord between Russian and Western historians. Over the past decades, these problems have become an integral part of the already tense relations between Russia and European countries. These problems have the important role in the context of Russian-European Union relations. Over the past decades, European organizations EU and the Council of Europe have adopted several resolutions that provoked a mixed reaction in Russia.
In the framework of this work, historical discussions between Russia and the EU are considered in the context of the Eastern policy of the EU, in particular after the implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership programs.

The typology and understanding of Korean identity are considered in this article. Here we consider the transformation of Korean identity under the influence of historical process, especially the Japan's policy of trying to assimilate the Korean nation to the Japanese and hinder the revival of Korean identity, and the loss of independence forced the Korean nation to undergo transformation of identity and absorb Western and modern values. We also consider Confucian values which are the basis of the Korean national identity. Korean identities are also analyzed here trying to reveal the similarities and features.

The Parliament of Armenia began its activity as the Supreme Council of the twelfth convocation of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, then became the Supreme Council of the first convocation of the Republic of Armenia, and in 1995 After the adoption of the Constitution, it turned into the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. During the first two years of its activity, the parliament experienced three important stages. In the first stage, the Supreme Council acted as the highest legislative body of the government. The Artsakh movement woke up the Soviet-Armenian society from its long slumber and the parliament-voter feedback was quite strong, that is, the parliament was fulfilling its mission as a representative body. The agenda of independence was formed in the Supreme Council, it became a platform for the establishment of new political forces, the separation of ideologies of political parties, and the formation of a democratic culture. The new forces that entered the Supreme Council did not trust the previous authorities, their officials both in the central government bodies and in the local government bodies, and tried to take the solution of all issues on themselves. As a result, law-making activity suffered. In that period, the structure of the Supreme Council and the procedure of work organization were also changed. An acute conflict arose between the legislative and executive branches of government. The appointment of activists of the Artsakh movement to the post of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers temporarily regulated the relationship between the legislative and executive powers, but in the absence of a Constitution and a clear separation of the functions of the branches of government, this contradiction intensified from time to time. In the third stage of the transformation, the Supreme Council had to cede part of the powers of the legislative body to the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Beginnig from 1990s due to socio-economic and regional political issues, large volumes of emigration and labor migration from Armenia have been recorded, which is worrying. The main direction of labor migration and emigration is Russian Federation, and this issue requires practical solutions to be overcomed.
The solution of the problem of unemployment in Republic of Armenia, and therefore overcoming emigration, requires making large capital investments in the economy, improving the economic policy, and developing a complex program for the development of the economy.
The involvement of the economic (inverstmens) and human potential of the Armenian diaspora (repatriation) can be key to reducing the volume of labor migration and overcoming emigration, improving the country's economic capabilities and human resources.
In this context, it is important to review and activate the economy - labour market - educational system chain under state control and not to lose working resources at a young and able-bodied age.

The sources of the history of relations between the Armenian Apostolic Church and Armenian Protestant are diverse in their type and content. Among the primary sources, the memoirs of the first evangelical missionaries William Goodell (Forty years in the Turkish Empire), Eli Smith (Missionary Researches in Armenia) and others, Mission Herald magazine take an important place.
Along with the above-mentioned primary sources, the documents kept in the archive fund of Alexander Yeritsyan of the Mashtotsyan Matenadaran are of great importance from the scientific point of view. Among many documents, we have prepared a remarkable document for publication: the letter of Archbishop Michael Sallantian to Nerses Ashtaraketsi. In the letter, the author addresses a number of important issues, in particular: how the missionaries worked, how the evangelical communities expanded, what kind of education the apostolic and evangelical schools offered. The letter also addresses the nviraks (priestes to traveled from region to region and gathered donations for the Church) of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the activities of the Armenian Catholics.

For decades, in the scientific and socio-political discourse of Azerbaijan, the issues of the rights of Azerbaijanis living in the Islamic Republic of Iran have been widely discussed. This smoothly transforms into a pan-national idea – the reunification of the two Azerbaijans. This transformation constitutes a clear encroachment on the territory of the neighboring state. This issue becomes a subject of political speculation and is utilized by external forces – regional and non-regional countries, international institutions. The article presents the period when the first state formations appeared in the Iranian plateau and the rich Iranian culture and political life began to develop. The first part of this series of articles deals with the first Iranian state formation, Media, its historical course and decline. Taking into account that the history of the Armenian people is closely related to the history of the Medes, due attention was paid to the coverage of the Armenian-Medes historical relations. It is intended for Iranian scholars, historians, international scholars, teaching staff and students of universities, as well as the general reading public.

The purpose of the study is to clearly define the “Mosaic” method, its rules, stages of implementation and features of application in a university course of the Armenian language. The objective of the study is to reveal the essence of the “Mosaic” method, the advantages and limitations of the indicated method, the pedagogical problems that arise when applying the methods and the ways of their solution.
General scientific logical, as well as the private or special methods of analysis and comparison have been used during the comprehensive study of the problem put forward within the framework of the topic.
The principles of cooperative teaching: interaction and mutual learning, students’ activities, collaboration, encouragement of self-expression and feedback create conditions for students’ activities, their motivation, self-expression, interaction and cooperation. At different stages of the “Mosaic”, i.e. at the stages of the study of material and collection of information, the work in expert and educational groups, final work and generalization, conditions are created for students’ cooperation, the exchange of thoughts and ideas, which is aimed not only at the solution of a particular educational problem, but at the development of interpersonal communication skills and the free expression of one’s own viewpoint, the evaluation of one’s own work and the work of other students, as well as the ability to appreciate what one has learned.
In expert and educational groups, the students work with each other, express their opinions, exchange ideas, being guided in their interaction rather by the principle of cooperation than by the principle of competition. Each member of the expert group realizes their educational goals and objectives with the assistance of others, simultaneously supporting them in the achievement of their own goals and objectives. In the given case, cooperation is not limited only to discussions, analysis and is organized on the basis of the principles of mutual learning, which becomes a basis for the formation and application of other principles: the principles of self-expression and feedback.
After conducting the research, we came to the conclusion that the capabilities of the “Mosaic” method contribute to a comprehensive study of the proposed material, the formation of interactive competence and cooperation, the development of expert abilities, and the fact that the student simultaneously becomes a teacher. Such limitations of the method as insufficient quantity of necessary resources, mismatch of interests, the volume of work and time can be overcome also by using other teaching techniques.
