Abstract

The article addresses the concept “faith” and examines questions related to its linguo-cultural aspect. “Superconcepts” are the super-values that are etymologically transferred to the human consciousness and survive in the form of concepts, images, knowledge, sense perceptions and emotions. The article analyzes the most important concept “faith” from a linguo-cultural perspective. The words “faith” and “հավատ” undergo an etymological analysis.
