Abstract

In a fast-paced world, the issue of belonging remains a matter of time. Although our roots try to keep us in the homeland, in many cases, becoming an emigrant becomes inevitable. Migration has, in fact, become a social norm, and a need has arisen to reconsider the notions of identity, belonging, home, as well as to present them from a different perspective. Migrant literature reflects three main categories: mythological, sociological, and psychological. The 20th century is considered to be the age of migration, and our goal is to uncover the hidden layers of migration in the context of migrant literature, as well as to raise a number of questions that will help us better interpret the features of migrant literature.
