Abstract

Maximum bubble pressure method has been used to study dynamic surface tension γ(t) of lysozyme in dimethyl sulfoxide/water mixtures. The γ(t) decay was measured in the range of 30 ms to 60 s. The induction period has been reported for dynamic surface tension of lysozyme. The transport of DMSO molecules from bulk to surface region has been studied that could be the result of intermolecular interactions.
