Submissions

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. 

Before submitting your manuscript, please review and adhere to the following guidelines. Proper preparation enhances readability, accelerates the review process, and increases the likelihood of acceptance.

• Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word.

• Figures, tables, graphs, and equations must be embedded within the main manuscript, appropriately numbered and cited.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors must confirm the following before submission:

• The work is original and not under review or published elsewhere.
• Manuscript is formatted per JEES guidelines.
• Includes standard sections: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
• Written in clear and correct English.
• DOIs or URLs are provided in references when available.
• A cover letter is uploaded or write in editor response section.

Cover Letter Requirements

The cover letter should include:

• Full names and affiliations of all authors (department, university, location).
• Confirmation of informed consent from human participants, if applicable.
• Ethics statement if research involves humans, animals, or pathology data.
• Trial registration details, if applicable (registry name and number).
• 3–5 highlights summarizing the novelty, main findings, and significance of the paper.

Types of Articles

Main Manuscript Structure

Title

• ≤20 words, concise, accurate, and engaging.

Author Information

• Full names, affiliations, and designation of the corresponding author.

Abstract

• 200–250 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Must be self-contained.

Keywords

• 3–8 terms separated by semicolons; avoid terms already in the title.

Section Headings

• Use numbered headings (e.g., 1, 1.1, 1.1.1) to structure content clearly.

Main Sections

1. Introduction
   Define the research background, problem, objectives, and significance.
2. Materials and Methods
   Provide detailed methodology for replication; include study design, materials, and statistical analyses.
3. Results and Discussion
   Present findings clearly using text, tables, and figures combine with Discussion. Interpret findings in the context of objectives and existing literature. Highlight implications and limitations.
4. Conclusions
   Summarize key results and their broader significance. Include future directions.
5. Author Contributions
   Describe individual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.
6. Conflict of Interest
   Disclose financial, institutional, personal, or political conflicts. If none, state: "The author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interest."
7. Data Availability Statement
   Indicate where and how the data supporting the findings can be accessed, and mention any restrictions if applicable.
8. Funding
   Provide names of funding bodies, grant numbers, and recipient authors. If no funding was received, state this clearly.
9. Acknowledgment
   Recognize assistance, administrative support, or indirect contributions.

• In-Text Citations
• References must be numbered in the order they appear in the text.
• Use Arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g., [1], [2,3], [4–6].
• Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.
• Do not cite unpublished results or personal communications in the reference list; include them in the text only if necessary.

For managing references, authors are encouraged to use reference management tools like Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote, selecting the journal's preferred citation style. Ensure field codes are removed before final submission.
