    Abstract

The subject of research is the costs of airlines. The purpose of the study is to confirm or deny the possibility of creating low-cost airlines as part of the Armenian air fleet. The research task is to find ways to reduce costs by calculating the costs of a traditional airline. The novelty of the study reveals the cost of reduced-cost items in the transportation tariff. The conclusion is made about the possibility of halving the cost of passenger transportation. The efficiency indicators of the low-cost airline have been calculated. The practical significance of the research results lies in increasing the validity of the creation of low-cost airlines in the country that is engaged in air transportation, confirming in practice the possibility of performing passenger transportation at lower prices than existing traditional airlines. The practical value of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using them for the implementation of measures to reduce tariffs in order to increase the competitiveness of airlines. The research methodology includes analytical, computational, and statistical methods. The scientific results show how much it is possible to reduce the costs of traditional airlines and bring them closer to the level of costs of low-cost airlines.

Economic Consequences of Adoption of Building Information Modeling

    Marine Ghazaryan
    View PDF
    Abstract

The rapid development, proliferation, and spread of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) are constantly changing the economy, particularly in the field of Urban Development. The key technology for industry transformation is Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is designed to integrate the industry into a single information domain through the conceptual design, construction, management, and demolition stages of the building lifecycle. The article discusses the impact of IT technology integration from the perspective of macro and microeconomics, using R․ Solow and the Multifactor Productivity models. It concludes that the increase in the productivity of the Industry expected from the integration of new technologies implies additional investments for the standardization, amendment of the normative base, and universalization for having sufficient gross impact.

Model of Territorial Conflict and International Military Cooperation

    Aram Arakelyan, Leon Makaryan
    View PDF
    Abstract

The current paper is devoted to the study of the extension of the Lottka-Volterra model as a means for the modeling of military expenditures for countries interested in one economic region. The problem studied in this paper involves multiple tasks such as problems of military spending, cooperation, interactions between states, steps leading to negotiations or war. As the main model, the extending of the Lottka-Volterra model is studied.

The numerical method for the solution of spline approximation is studied. The system of equations is given as a means for the presentation of countries’ military expenditures behavior. The model given for countries’ military expenditures behavior allows getting trajectories of countries military spending curves during three–five years’ period. As the numerical example for the study of the research outcome the simulation model for five countries interested in one economic region is presented.

Application of Artificial Intelligence Models in Finance (on the example of the UCO in RA)

    Gevorg Ghalachyan
    View PDF
    Abstract

Evolving technologies and state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms have brought new opportunities for microfinance organizations. In this paper, we present the methodologies that can be used for better financial planning for such organizations and show the application for a UCO operation in RA.

Such methodologies allow obtaining cost-optimized and high-accuracy prediction models. Moreover, we showed that suggested techniques solve the problem of model interpretability and provide feature explanations for binary classification problems.  Also, we demonstrated an algorithm that creates a latent space of features for data visualization and application segmentation.
