Հոդվածի նպատակն է սոցիալ-հոգեբանական տեսանկյունից քննարկել հետհեղափոխական և հետպատերազմական Հայաստանում երկրում ընթացող իրադարձությունների վրա ազդելու սահմանները և քաղաքացիական մասնակցության արգելակները երիտասարդների ընկալումներում։ Ե՛վ տեսությունը, և՛ սոցիալական պրակտիկան վկայում են, որ փոփոխություններին մասնակցելու և առհասարակ՝ սոցիալական իրականության վրա ազդելու՝ սուբյեկտիվորեն գնահատվող հնարավորությունները գործնական հետևանքներ են ունենում փաստացի (չ)մասնակցության համար, ինչն իր հերթին կառուցում է այդ իրականությունը։ Ուստի, հաշվի առնելով հետպատերազմական անորոշության պայմաններում քաղաքացիական մասնակցության նվազումը, քաղաքացիական մասնակցության իմաստալից ձևերը վեր հանելու և խթանելու համար դրանց ընկալվող խոչընդոտների և սահմանների ուսումնասիրությունը մեծ կարևորություն է ձեռք բերում:
Վերլուծությունը հիմնված է Երևանում և ՀՀ չորս մարզերում 2024 թ․ արված ֆոկուս-խմբային հարցազրույցների վրա։ Վերլուծության արդյունքում վեր են հանվում վերանհատական-կառուցվածքային, խմբային-համայնքային և անհատական մակարդակի գործոններ, որոնցով մեկնաբանվում է սեփական (չ)ներգրավումը։
