The factors of economic efficiency of the combination of sub-sectors were identified for the main types of products - grain and milk. For this, various forms of management were grouped according to the level of specialization, the effect of economies of scale on the level of profitability of production was revealed.Comparison of the main economic indicators of different forms of farming, for which grain cultivation or dairy and beef cattle breeding was a sub-industry, indicates that with an increase in the sown area or the number of cows, the economic efficiency of the agricultural production resources increases, despite the higher material and monetary costs based on per 1 hectare of grain crops or 1 unit of livestock.
