Abstract

The problem of representation of emotions in languages plays a key role in modern linguistics. An overview of professional literature on the subject entitles the author to discuss some theoretical aspects of linguistic theory of emotivity. The paper analyzes cultural, ethnic, and cognitive components оf the emotive concept.
