The dependence of etilendiamintetraacetat (EDTA) effect on the pH medium and temperature for white rat and Rana Ridibunda frog ureotelic arginases was studied. It was shown that arginase of the liver of frogs under the influence of EDTA was inactivated at pH 7.4–9.5 unlike the rat’s arginase, which is inactivated at same conditions accurately at pH 7.4 only. The inhibitory effect of low temperatures in the process of inactivation in both cases was shown also. Significant differences in the process of inactivation in both cases, which is conditioned by interspecific differences of isofunctional proteins were revealed.
