Nepheline syenites of Armenia which are the potential raw stock base of the aluminum industry, soda products and cement production must be considered as a complex multipurpose raw stock with prospects of rear-earth and fine precious metals mineralization.
The article presents the results of fieldwork conducted during 2008 and 2010 within the copper ore of Gez-Gez in Syunik Region. It has been considered the mineralogical and geochemical features of ores and issues of distribution of copper, molybdenum and gold mineralization within the ore field. Horizontal pattern of distribution of mineralization is revealed. Molybdenum and gold-polymetallic mineralization are available in the central parts of the ore field and copper mineralizations are available in the northern and southern parts. In the composition of ores molybdenite, chalcopyrite-molybdenite, chalcopyrite, pyrite-chalcopyrite, chalcopyrite-hematite, gold-polymetallic and arsenopyrit association of minerals are available, which are copper, molybdenum and gold sources.
In Central Iran Eocene copper deposit occurs in volcanic arc setting hosted by Oligocene porphyrytic granite, which is intruded by a series of Miocene quartz-monozodiorite to granodiorite rocks. The intrusions were intruded into late cretaceous and Eocene sedimentary volcano-clastic and volcanic rocks. Major and accessory minerals with petrography data suggest that all copper bearing intrusions are I-type volcanic granitoids. Four hydrothermal alteration zones have been recognized in the porphyritic intrusions and surrounding rocks. This study identified the Cu-Mo mineralization at Ali-Abad area as a typical porphyritic Cu-Mo deposit, formed in an arc-related environment during Mid-Cenozoic era.
On the basis of analysis and generalization of available data, we have come to conclusion, that the further operation of basalt deposit is inadmissible, as it is located in the second sanitary-protective zone of Novoseltsovo springs and can influence a hydrodynamic mode of these springs. This inadmissible, because in the present waters of springs with 370 L/s expense are used as drinking water supply nearby 150000 inhabitants of settlements.
In this article natural conditions of Yerevan City, modification of geological environment under the influence of technogenic impacts are considered. Development of industry and construction causes uncontrolled modifications of ground water regime, as well as activation of landslides, collapses, subsidence of soils. Zoning of territory of the city on modification of geological environment has been carried out. In greatly altered territories conducting of drainage channels, restoration of irrigative, water supply-sewer nets, meliorating of waste disposal territories are recommended.
Studies have shown that winds have a great influence on military aviation flights in the area of Erebuni airport. So, during the cold period of the year, southern and South-West winds prevail and during the warm period – North-West. Annual average speed of southern, South-West and North-West winds are 5–8 m/s and gusts 25–28 m/s. During these winds flights are limited or stopped.
Iran is one of the greatest oil and gas areas. In spite of great volumes of exploitation the quantity of resources continues to increase. The incomes from natural gas and oil use and exploitation are not enough. To solve the problems must be – reducing the economic and political pressure of "super states", resolving the territorial conflicts, rational inner regional policy, increasing the volume of oil, gas and oil products export.
