    Abstract

Strength behavior of water saturated subsidented soils is studied. A linear dependence of relative subsidence deformation of compacting stresses while σz<Psl,0, becoming to power dependence when σz>Psl,0  is found out  experimentally. In conditions of water saturation the shear resistance chart represents a broken line, which vertex corresponds to the initial subsidence value. Necessity to determine the shear resistance arguments for each compacting stress σz>Psl,0 on reverse branch of compression curves on Nichiporovich method is established.

    Abstract

Alaverdi ore area formed on the NW edge of the anticlinorium, bearing the same name is limited by NE faults on mafic block of metamorphic basement of the crust and its adjacent territories. The analysis of the results of geological-surveying, prospecting and estimating, gravi-magnetometric and geochemical researches made it possible to allocate and pre-estimate the ore area and the ore knots and ore fields located within its limits.

    Abstract

Second derivatives of gravity field (gzz) are calculated and а map is compiled for the left bank basin of the Vorotan River (M 1: 50000). Outlined local anomalies provide additional information on geological structure of the region.

CHANGES OF GEOECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF А TERRITORY AS A RESULT OF LARGE DRAW-OFF GROUND WATERS

    Abstract

The exploitation of ground water deposits for the purposes of water-supplying has certain restrictions connected with the quantity of the exploited resources and their hydrogeological conditions. Inadmissible large amount of draw-off can bring to their exhaustion in the course of time with appropriate negative geoecological consequences. As an example some deposits of RA have been observed where large draw-off with borehole groups are carried out.

    Abstract

Taking into account the loss of stability of slopes, as well as the results of theoretical and experimental studies of landslide phenomena, the role of microorganisms in the process of reducing the stability of soils of landslide slopes and the issue of activation of landslide phenomena is considered.

    Abstract

In the article an environmental pollution of South Tehran (Rey Industrial area) was studied. The oil pollution of facing soil and ground water in Ray area was actualized since early 1970's. The aim of the study was to carry out a method to solve this problem. It is shown the polluting material is the light oil and is measured the annual movement of polluting oil about 2.6 m per year. In circumstances like these an urgent measures regarding to the related polluted region and pollution source, as well as detailed and preliminary investigations are recommended.
