    Abstract

In geological structure of Bardzravan ore field the main role belongs to the volcanic-sedimentary formations of the lower and middle Eocene. These rocks are covered unconformably with lava and pyroclastic formations of salvard suit of the middle-upper Miocene. Metasomatic rocks, which confined to the gold-bearing, are widely distributed within the ore field. The article also presents the data of geophysical studies, which were made in the central part of the ore field.

    Abstract

The method of geophysical monitoring of Earth crust was applied, which allows to fulfill the monitoring of modern geodynamic processes of Armenia through geodynamic observations, observations of geochemistry of groundwater, vector module of magnetic field and seismic mode of the region. The distribution of hydrogeodynamic processes in time and space is observed. The character of space-time distribution of geodynamic stress is defined.

    Abstract

The total discharge of the Neka River (Iran) groundwater flow and its deep laid distribution have been determined on the basis of applying water balance, biolocation and geophysical methods of research. The places of boreholes have been established for groundwater withdrawal for the purpose of water supply.

    Abstract

The article presents the classification of fresh groundwater deposits of commercial importance of their occurrence in the territory of Armenia. The following types of fresh groundwater deposits have been distinguished: 1) water-table aquifers of narrow river valleys; 2) fracture waters of volcanic rocks; 3) confined-nonconfined waters of intermountain basins. Natural and artificial resources and reserves occur in these types of deposits as well as attracted groundwater resources. They provide operational reserves of groundwater. The estimation of safe yield out of fresh groundwater resources and reserves is provided.

GROUNDWATER BEHAVIOR IN THE CENTRAL PART OF YEREVAN CITY

    Zh. A. Achoyan

    Abstract

Conducted short-time groundwater monitoring in the central part of Yerevan, especially in the section between stations named "Yeritasardakan" and "Zoravar Andranik" indicated that groundwater table is shallow and interferes with metro. For a rational reconstruction of the metro first the water table level should be lowered. To maintain the level of groundwater at relatively low depths it is required to develop and implement the necessary engineering measures.

    Abstract

The study of tectonomagnetic field is possible if from the general variations of geomagnetic field could be distinguished a component containing information about the elastic-mechanical strains acting on the earth crust. In general variations of geomagnetic field the main role are playing secular and solar daily variations, the amplitudes of which are comparable with the amplitudes of tectonomagnetic field. On this base the necessity of filtration of above mentioned from general variations arises, the method of which is produced in the present work.
