Social Work and Social Culture of Armenian Society

The article analyzes the process of changing the social culture of the Armenian society under the influence of the "social work" profession.The author argues that social work has been the achievement of Western cultures, and the implementation of it into traditional Armenian society, radically changes its social culture. Social work is a new technology of protection of people from negative social effects of market relations. For successful implementation of it into post-Soviet Armenian Society, we have to adapt social culture to the requirements of its norms and values.
