Abstract

The present paper is devoted to the discussion of the communicative approach to foreign language teaching, its objectives, advantages and some disadvantages. Thanks to the application of this approach students develop their communicative competence. The paper also justifies the importance of the given approach that will contribute to the use of the target language for real communication.
