Words denoting clothing comprise part of common vocabulary, the are used in all functional styles of a language and all splurges. These words are hugely important for everyone regardless of their education, position, age, gender etc. The prevailing view in Armenian stylishness, according to which words denoting clothing are constants of the neutral layer, is that they are not stylistically marked, which means they lack emotional and expressive coloring. Words of neutral layer, as dictionary entries also leave a denotative value, not more. However, when these words are employed in different vocabulary sets, appear in the works of various talented writers, they acquire figurative meanings, stylistically mark the speech, express different stylistic, emotional shades, and finally represent a great artistic value.
