ADVERTISING AND DIRECT MARKETING POLICY

The journal Education in the 21st Century maintains a definitive and transparent policy regarding advertising and marketing to ensure that editorial independence and the integrity of the published scientific record are never compromised by commercial interests. This policy is aligned with the COPE Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

1. Prohibition of Commercial Advertising

The journal categorically does not accept any form of commercial advertising. No promotional materials, sponsored links, or third-party commercial content are permitted on the journal's official digital platform or within its published issues. This structural exclusion ensures that the scientific discourse remains exclusively focused on academic merit, free from external commercial bias.

2. Ethical Direct Marketing

Any direct marketing activities, including "Calls for Papers" or announcements of thematic issues, are conducted in a strictly ethical, targeted, and non-intrusive manner. The journal explicitly prohibits predatory marketing practices. All promotional communications are designed to be accurate, transparent, and compliant with the journal's Privacy Statement. The use of author or reviewer contact information for unauthorized marketing purposes is strictly forbidden.

3. Editorial Independence from Commercial Interests

Editorial decisions are predicated solely on the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscripts. Financial considerations, institutional funding, or potential marketing reach have absolutely no influence on the peer-review process or the final adjudications of the Editor-in-Chief.
