This article offers the first comprehensive study of the stylistic, expressive potential and functions of nominal phrases in the poetry of Paruyr Sevak. Within the system of Sevak's poetic lexicon, the majority of these phrases cease to be merely syntactic units carrying purely nominal meaning; instead, they transform into vital artistic devices that complement and solidify the figurative system of his poetry, acquiring semantic layers, emotional undercurrents, and ideological depth. The metaphorical and symbolic phrases created by the author contribute to an accurate perception of his worldview, aesthetic principles, and the psychological foundations of his artistic discourse. Expressions such as "warm snow," "scraps of dreams," "carnal shirt," "sweet weeping," "the hand of the sweeper-wind," "smokeless fire," and the like demonstrate that nominal phrases serve as foundational image-building tools in Sevak's poetry.
